The deconstruction of America has begun.

I look at the headlines daily, more now that I have been RIF'ed, and I see the very subtle and not so subtle signs of a totalitarian government emerging. We may bypass Communism all together and devolve into a despot government style. I am beginning to believe that Mr Obama and his administration, because the president lacks the power to do this on his own, have an agenda to destroy all that we hold dear.

Yesterday I see that ABC News has been "turned over to Obama and that the news will be anchored from inside the White House." This just stinks of something some of our Muslim countries do. There have a strategy to manipulate the information we hear and read. This serves to shape Mr. Obama's actions into something more palatable to the American people. We are seeing an example of this power being exercised in Iran right now with the vote fraud thing going on over there. The media is having a difficult if not impossible time getting information out to the rest of the world.

There is no doubt that the America that we have known for our lifetimes has been changed into something that no longer resembles what it once was. This occurred on 9/11/2001. But, now 8 years later we have a man in office who IS Muslim, whether or not he wants to admit it, who came from obscurity in 2004 into the senate and now into our living rooms and pocketbooks as president and so called messiah. He appears to be finishing what the terrorists started on 9/11 by deconstructing what is left of our freedoms and free market economy.

It is no secret that the Muslim world has long detested our capitalist free market economy and have long wanted to see it collapse. I find it odd that as soon as Obama took office exactly that happened. Now, I hear the people who blame George Bush for this and they say that Obama "inherited" this problem, but lets roll back time a little lets say 8 years to the economy tanking on George Bush as soon as he took office. No one blamed the Clinton's for the Dot Com bust, though it was clearly a situation brought on by their administration. All of the money that was made in the late 1990's by "Internet Entrepreneurs" who had little more that a domain name and a flashy website. This was the time of the birth of companies like Yahoo and Google as well as some real flops. For every Yahoo or Google there were hundreds of sites that started up got venture capital and then folded. Never to be heard from again. All of this came to a head when George took office.

I believe and will say it again and again, that the media must stay out of politics and remain neutral and independent of we will soon see the end of that right. There will no longer be a free press. As soon as stories begin to conflict you will see Official stories and approved stories in the news. The other outlets will begin to disappear as there becomes less and less access to the 'real' news.

What will happen in 4 years when election time comes about? Will ABC be kicked out of the White House or will other candidates be given 'Equal Time' which is guaranteed by election law?

I will be back soon with more but this is all I have to say in this installment. Next we will look at the conflicts in the world as well as tyhose brewing at home like the new Blogger anonymity ruling... I thought that sources were protected under the constitution... Oh wait I guess that that is another bit of erosion to the freedom of the press and expression. Mark my words citizens.

Update

Sorry it has been a while guys but I was put on a weird shift at work that kept me away. I am back now, however, and will resume the posts regularly. I was laid off due to a reduction in force. Isn't it funny that in my adult life there have been mostly Republican presidents who supposedly did not care for the little guy, but I was never laid off until now?

Lies, Lies, Lies and more Lies

How can we believe what we are being told? First the Fed conducts this Stress Test for the Obama administration to determine how solvent the banking industry is, and then they are so troubled by the results that they refuse to release them to the public due to a fear of a run on the banks. Now they are downplaying the results and telling us that the industry is just fine. That only 10 out of the 19 biggest banks need MORE money to survive. But insist that there is no other problem with the financial system.

They then tell us that the recession will end in September to October 2009 and all will be hunky dory. This on the heels of yet another dismal unemployment report. What the report does not tell you is that these people have filed claims, not that there are countless others who are not on unemployment due to their benefits running out or that there are people drawing unemployment in addition to the number of new claims.

People, we need to take our heads out of the sand and start to piece together what is really going on here. Forget the party politics and realize that the way you lived before will never return to it's former splendor. I was perusing the older stories that I have saved to my desktop and I came across one that has the capability of doing more damage than the banking industry or the swine flu.

There was a report about food prices and food shortages that are due to hit later this year due to lack of water for agricultural areas of California. In the report farmers are being forced to idle thousands of acres of farmland due to the water shortages facing the region. This sparked lots of concerns in March but then the economic debacle was thrown into the mix to divert our attention from the food riots and other demonstrations occurring in Europe and other areas of the world. Then people began rioting due to the financial crisis in Europe and the media quickly changed our focus once more.

Food Prices will rise soon and I do not mean the small jumps that we see every year. I challenge all readers to track the prices that they pay at their favorite grocery retailer and you will see that prices are indeed rising almost on a weekly basis.

I worry sometimes for all of the people living in California who demand that they have unrestricted access to water while the farmers are being told that there is no water for them. Eventually they will see that their insatiable thirst has cost all of us our food supply.

Oops... People are paying too much attention to the government... Lets change the subject.

Have you ever noticed how quickly the media changes the focus of their magnifying glass? It seems that when the media is done with a certain subject, or it is not sensational anymore, or people are beginning to speak out against their favorite liberal politician, they change the subject and attempt to focus our attention elsewhere.

When the Monica Lewinsky story made people criticize Bill Clinton, the media outlets found another story to cover... Remember Somalia? When Gary Condit's assistant (lover) went missing it was all the rage, then 9/11 happened and we never heard of that young lady again. When the Media thought the people were getting too angry they took the footage off our TVs and moved on to another story. Hmmm, lets see, what was the story... The 9/11 commission and how George bush was responsible for the carnage that occurred that day. Never mind the fact that Bill Clinton was too busy with Monica Lewinsky to go get Bin Laden in 1996 when he was offered to us.

This week the media is diverting our attention away from the government and their attempts to undermine our Constitution with the new scare tactic... SWINE FLU... I understand that this could cause a global pandemic, but so can the common cold (which we cannot cure.) Instead, our fearless leader has decided to let Janet, (Napalitano), tell us that there is no reason to close the southern border to slow down the spread of this strain from Texas to California, then further into the United States. Yet she thinks that Veterans are a problem... (I know she apologized for that remark but the damage is done in my opinion.)

So, now we are looking through the magnifying glass at the Swine Flu, a virus that has killed around 100 people and has infected approximately 2 thousand people out of 6 billion, (that is 100 out of 2,000 out of 6,000,000,000 just to give you a visual comparison.) According to Alcoholalert.com 4,161 people have been killed this year by drunk drivers in America alone, why not showcase that social issue.

The Swine Flu may well mutate and kill more people, but, if the Department of Homeland Security is not concerned enough for the residents of this country to stop people from coming into our Homeland with a potentially deadly strain of the flu, then obviously it is not any more serious than the common cold, (which I say again, there is still no cure for.)

MEDIA MOGULS... TELL US THE TRUTH... NOT THE TRUTH YOU WANT US TO HEAR!

Our Fracturing Country.

I just read an attempt to mitigate the blame for the report issued by the Department of Homeland Security regarding the threat posed by veterans. I am sure that many of you have read the report and perhaps have been following the updates. I am once again going to point out the imbalance in reporting.

In the report released by the AP, writer Eileen Sullivan stated "It (the report) drew angry reactions from Rehbein, conservative bloggers and Republican members of Congress who took to the House floor this week to criticize Napolitano, confirmed to her Cabinet position less than 100 days ago."

Is she trying to tell me that not one Democrat or Liberal criticized the DHS for this report? If this is the case that no Dem or Lib came out against this report then I feel that they need to be summarily removed from office and replaced by someone why understands why they have the freedom that they enjoy. Millions have served and died through the years and various wars and conflicts to ensure that they can have the right to sit in the prized positions that they currently occupy. These people are entitled to their opinion, but they are also responsible for that opinion. They should be dealt with accordingly.

I agree with the ‘republicans and conservatives on this issue, she should be removed or step down. She has no expertise that uniquely qualifies her to be in the position. Obviously this was a political favor appointment like so many others that are made after a new President is elected.

I am against cabinet appointments based solely on favor and not on experience.

Liberal Bias

I was just reading a story from the associated press that stated that 48 percent of Americans feel that America is moving in the right direction. This is getting so aggravating. If the poll had been about any other party whether they be Republican, Independent, Green or anyone else who was not a liberal, this would have stated:

'44 percent of Americans believe the United States is headed in the wrong direction.'

I am so sick of the slant. It seems to me that if the press likes you they publish the positive side of the poll results, but if you have lost their favor, they write about the negative side of the poll results.

This is why our country is in a tailspin. People are too worried about what the polls and the media have to say. Our country is supposed to be lead by US, not the press, the leaders of foreign countries or their citizens. Our country is supposed to be governed by the people, of the people and for the people of America.

I like many in this country have sat idly by for too long and it is time that I start to take note and act to save my country. I saw this statement in a piece written in Bangladesh by William Gomes a human rights activist; " Benjamin Franklin said, “Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!” When the wolves fight for the lamb, democracy, they are fighting to kill it."(April 04 2009) This is particularly relevant in that the political parties in America are acting just like the wolves and if we the people do not stand up, our country will no longer be the country that I promised to die for when I first joined our military.

I am a Patriot, Veteran, defender of our constitution, but most of all I AM AN AMERICAN.
